They're pronounced /'pɑ: mə zæn/ (pah muh zan) in English and /par mi ˈdʒaː no/ (pah mee 'jahn oh) in Italian. It's probably Italian influence. The Italian word for it is parmigiano. Under Italian influence a few other French loanwords stopped being pronounced like they are in French.
